Yasaman Hoorfar - Vancouver, B.C

Yasaman Hoorfar is an emerging Iranian-Canadian fashion designer based in Vancouver. She was born in Tehran and raised in Vancouver; a fact that highly influences her taste and decisions in design. She is very fond of the rich history and culture of her roots and the many tribes that are celebrated in her home country is what sparked her interest in African fashion

Shadow By Sidumiso- Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

Shadow By Sidumiso is a clothing label established in 2004 and founded by Sidumiso Tshuma. The name Shadow comes from Tshuma’s school days when he used to be called by such because of his dark complexion. Instead of mopping around and losing his self esteem, Sidumiso took the name as his brand and demonstrated how one can embrace their uniqueness and sale it to the rest of the world.
