The event involves music, dancing and a stunning display of incredible talent from African fashion designers. It is a masterful show of diversity, ranging from the models to the fashion itself. Everything from traditional African wear to modern, contemporary pieces are represented on the runway and it is truly a delight to take in.
This year AFAM is taking part in an exciting collaboration with RCFS The Rwanda Cultural Fashion Show.
RCFS is an event supporting local and international designers, bringing together artists, policymakers and consumers.Together the two organizations will be able to share skills in event management, as well as provide support and training for models, photographers and designers alike. With each group lending their expertise, it will surely lead to a powerful display supporting design and entrepreneurship in their respective countries.
